Call Barring
The call barring networ k service allows you t o
restrict your calls.
First you can select t he it em am ong below ones.
You can specify individual bar ring options for
each of t he following call t ypes:
Voice ca lls
All data ca lls
All fax ca lls
Call barr ing can be set up in t he following way s.
All: calls cannot be received or m ade.
Out goin g: calls cannot be m ade.
I nt e r nat ional: int ernational calls cannot be
m ade.
I nt exp. H om e: w hen abroad, calls can be
m ade only t o num bers wit hin t he current count ry
and to your hom e count ry , t hat is t he count r y
where your hom e net w ork provider is locat ed.
W hen Roa m : calls cannot be received when you
are using your phone out side your hom e serv ice
area.
Cance l All: all call barring set t ings are
deact ivat ed; calls can be m ade and r eceived
norm ally.
You can specify individual bar ring options for
each of t he following call t ypes:

All dat a calls
All fax calls
To set your call bar ring options, proceed as
follows.
1. Select t he t ype of calls to be barred by
pr essing t he < Navigation Up> or < Navigation
Down> key unt il the appropriat e opt ion is
highlighted and t hen press the SELECT soft key.
2. Select t he t ype of call barr ing required by
pr essing t he < Navigation Up> or < Navigation
Down> key unt il the appropriat e opt ion is
highlighted and t hen press the SELECT soft key.
3. Press the Act ivat e soft key to confirm your
set t ings.
4. Ent er your call bar ring passwor d supplied by
your service provider.
The phone sends your set t ings to t he net work
and the net work s acknowledgem ent is displayed.
To deactivate specific call barring set t ings,
pr oceed as follows.
1. Select t he t ype of call t o w hich t his opt ion
applies.
2. Select t he call bar ring option t o be
deact ivat ed.
3. Press the D e a ct iva t e soft key.
4. Ent er your call bar ring passwor d supplied by
your service provider.
The phone sends your set t ings to t he net work
and the net work s acknowledgem ent is displayed.
You can also deact ivat e all call barring set t ings
by select ing the Cance l All option.
You can set and change t he call barr ing password
obt ained from your serv ice pr ovider using t he
Pa ssw or d Change opt ion. You m ust ent er the
