Mut ing t he M icrophone
You can t em por arily swit ch your phone’s
m icrophone off, so t hat t he other party cannot
hear y ou.
Ex am ple: You w ish to say som et hing t o anot her person
in t he r oom but do not want t he ot her part y t o hear you.
To switch t he m icr ophone off tem porarily ,
pr oceed as follows.
1. Dur ing a call, press t he Opt soft k ey t o ent er
I n- Call Opt ions.
2. Press the < Navigation Up> or < Navigation
Down> key t o highlight Mut e.
3. Press the SELECT soft key.
Your corr espondent can no longer hear you.
To switch t he m icr ophone back on, proceed as
follows.
1. Press t he Opt soft key to ent er I n- Call
Options.
2. Press the < Navigation Up> or < Navigation
Down> key t o highlight Un m ute.
3. Press the SELECT soft key.
Your corr espondent can hear you again.
Using the Message Se rvice
Your phone can receive an incom ing m essage
dur ing a call. You can read it im mediat ely wit hout
disconnect ing t he call. Also, you can send a
m essage during a call.
1. Press the Opt soft key and select Ca ll
Messa ge by pressing t he< End : Power> key.
2. Press the SELECT soft key
The phone ent ers t he Message m enu. Refer t o
[ Messages] m enu.
