Call W aiting
This network service enables you t o be inform ed
when som eone is trying t o reach you during
another call.
You can specify t he call wait ing option for voice
calls only.
To set your call w ait ing opt ions, pr oceed as
follows.
The screen inform s you whet her call waiting is
activat ed or deact ivated.
- You can act ivate or deact ivate t he call wait ing
feat ure as necessary using t he Act ivate or
Deact ivate soft key respect ively.
Send M y Ca ller I D
You can send your phone num ber t o t he
designat ed phone when m aking a call so t hat the
recipient can see your phone num ber.
N ot e : Som e network s do not allow t he user t o change
this set t ing.
The follow ing opt ions are av ailable.
Off: your num ber is not displayed on
the other party’ s phone.
On: your num ber is sent each t im e you
m ake a call and displays on t he other party’ s
phone.
N et w or k Select ion
The Net work Select ion feat ure enables you t o
indicat e whet her t he network used w hen r oam ing
( outside your hom e area) is select ed
aut om at ically or m anually.
N ot e : You can select a netw ork other t han your hom e
network only if it has a v alid roam ing agreem ent
wit h your hom e net work.
To indicate whet her t he network is t o be selected
aut om at ically or m anually when r oam ing,
proceed as follow s.
1. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key until t he appropriat e opt ion is
highlighted and t hen press t he SELECT soft k ey.
I f y ou select Aut om a t ic, you are connect ed
to t he first av ailable net w or k in t he pr efer red
list w hen r oam ing.
I f y ou select Manu al, the phone scans for
the available net works. Go t o St ep 2.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key until t he preferred net work is
highlighted and t hen press t he SELECT soft k ey.
