Low Ba t t ery I ndica t or
When t he bat t ery charge level get s low, you can
see an em pt y bat t ery icon at the t op right of the
display and a text not ificat ion.

I f t he batt ery level get s t oo low , the phone will
turn off aut om at ically. Unfortunat ely, if t his
happens, you’ ll lose what ever you are doing,
including dr opping your call. Wat ch the battery
st rengt h icon and m ake sure your bat t ery is
adequat ely charged.
Sw itching t he Phone
On/ Off
1. Press and hold down the < End: Power> key for
m ore t han one second to swit ch t he phone on.
2. I f t he phone asks for a password, ent er the
passw ord. For det ails on t he phone password,
see Password
3. I f PI N code request of your SI M card is
enabled, your phone asks you to enter t he PI N
code. Ent er the PI N code, t hen your phone
connect s t o t he GSM network .
The 3 lights on t he cover of t he phone flashes,
and an alert sounds. When the syst em locat es
ser vices, you can see the following idle screens
on the m ain and front LCD r espectively.
I f t he phone is out of service, t he < Call> icon
and ‘ No Serv ice’ appear in t he display. I n this
case, you cannot place and receive calls. You
can t ry again lat er when service is available.
4. When y ou w ish to swit ch t he phone off, hold
down t he< End: Power> key for m or e t han t w o
seconds

Your Phone’ s Mode
St a ndby Mode
St andby is t he m ost basic stat e of your phone.
The phone goes int o St andby m ode soon aft er
you tur n it on, or whenever you briefly press
the< End: Power> key . When your phone is in
St andby m ode, y ou w ill t ypically see t he current
dat e and tim e.
I f y ou ent er a phone num ber, you can pr ess
the< Send> key to dial it, or press t he Save soft
key to save it in the int ernal Phonebook.
Press t he < End: Power> key at any t im e to
return t o St andby m ode. Be careful; if you are on
a call when you pr ess the < End: Power> key,
you will return t o St andby m ode, but it also
disconnect s t he call.
Press t he C or Ba ck soft key several t im es or
hold it down t o ret urn t o Standby m ode w it hout
ending t he call.
Talk Mode
You can place and answer calls only when your
phone is t urned on. During a call, the phone is in
Talk m ode. While you ar e in Talk m ode, pressing
< Soft Left key> gives you a list of opt ions
referred t o as “ I n- Call Opt ions.”
