Securit y code that prot ect s t he phone against
unaut horised use. The PI N is supplied by t he
ser vice provider with t he SI M card. I t m ay be a
four t o eight -digit num ber and can be changed,
as required.
PUK ( PI N Unblock ing Key)
Securit y code used to unlock the phone when
an incorrect PI N has been ent er ed t hree tim es
in succession. The eight-digit num ber is supplied
by the service provider with t he SI M card.

hom e area ( w hen traveling for ex am ple) .

required to operat e t he phone (net work and
