I f y ou key in an incorrect PI N2 code t hree t im es
in succession, key in t he PUK2 code and press
SELECT key in a new PI N2 code and press
SELECT Key
in t he new code again and press SELECT.
PUK code
The PUK ( Personal Unblocking Key) code is
required to change a blocked PI N code. The PUK
code m ay be supplied wit h the SI M card. I f not ,
cont act y our local service provider for t he code.
I f y ou key in an incorrect PUK code t en t im es in
succession, t he SI M card cannot be used
anym ore. Cont act your service provider for a
new card.
You cannot change the PUK code. I f y ou lose the
code, cont act your service provider.
PUK2 code
The PUK2 code, supplied wit h som e SI M cards, is
required to change a blocked PI N2 code.
I f y ou key in an incorrect PUK2 code t en t im es in
succession, you cannot use t he funct ions
requiring t he PI N2 code. Cont act your service
provider for a new card.
You cannot change t he PUK2 code. I f you lose
the code, cont act your service provider.
Ba rring Pa ssw ord
The 4- digit barr ing password is required when
you use the Call Barring funct ion. You obt ain t he
passw ord from your service provider when you
subscr ibe t o this funct ion.

Your phone is power ed by a rechargeable Li- ion
st andar d battery.
The following bat t eries are also available ( ask
your local dealer for further det ails) :

• Never use any charger or bat t ery that is
dam aged in any way .
• Use the battery only for it s intended pur pose.
• I f you use the phone near t he net work’ s base
st ation, it uses less power; t alk and st andby
tim es are great ly affect ed by t he signal strengt h
on the cellular net work and the par am et ers set
by the network operat or.
• Bat t ery char ging tim es depend on t he
rem aining bat t ery charge and the t ype of bat t ery
and char ger used. The bat t ery can be charged
and discharged hundr eds of tim es, but it will
gradually w ear out . When t he operat ion tim e
( t alk t im e and standby t im e) is not iceably
short er t han norm al, it is t im e to buy a new
bat t ery.
• I f left unused, a fully charged bat t ery w ill
discharge it self over t im e.
• Use only approved bat t eries and recharge your
bat t ery only wit h approved char gers. When a
char ger is not in use, disconnect it from the
power source. Do not leave t he bat t ery
connect ed t o a charger for m ore than a week,
since over charging m ay shorten it s life.
• Ext rem e t em perat ures will affect t he charging
capacit y of y our bat t ery: it m ay require cooling
or warm ing first.
• Do not leave t he batt ery in hot or cold places,
such as in a car in sum m er or winter condit ions,
as you w ill reduce t he capacit y and life- t im e of
