( FCC) of t he United St at es w it h its act ion in Report and
Order FCC 96- 326 adopt ed an updated safet y st andard
for hum an ex posure t o r adio frequency electrom agnet ic
energy em it t ed by FCC regulat ed t ransm itter s. Those
guidelines are consist ent wit h t he safet y st andard
pr ev iously set by bot h U.S. and internat ional st andards
bodies. The design of t his phone com plies w it h t he FCC
guidelines and t hese int er national st andards.
Use only t he supplied or an approved ant enna.
Unaut horized ant ennas, m odificat ions, or at t achm ent s
could im pair call qualit y, dam age t he phone, or result in
violat ion of FCC regulat ions.
Do not use t he phone with a dam aged antenna. I f a
dam aged ant enna com es int o contact w it h t he skin, a

Body- w orn Opera t ion
This dev ice w as t est ed for t ypical body- worn oper ations
using t he opt ional belt - clip/ holst er placed 0.7 inches
( 1.8cm ) from t he body. To com ply w it h FCC RF exposure
requir em ent s, a m inim um separat ion dist ance of 0.7
inches ( 1.8cm ) m ust be m aint ained between t he user s
body and t he phone, including t he ant enna, w hether
ext ended or ret ract ed. The use of t hird- party belt -clips/
holst ers wit h no m et allic com ponent s t hat pr ovide t he
m inim um separat ion dist ance of 0.7 inches ( 1.8cm ) can
be used t o sat isfy FCC RF exposure r equirem ents. The
use of non -test ed accessor ies or other body- w orn
operat ions
m ay not com ply wit h FCC RF exposure requir em ents and
