Phonebook
You can st ore phone num bers and their
corresponding nam es in t he m em ories of your
SI M card and the phone. You can st or e up t o 500
and 200 ent ries r espectively t he SI M card and
phone m em ories, alt hough physically separat e,
are used as if t hey were a single ent ity, called the
Phonebook.
St oring a Phone Num be r
w ith a N am e
1. Key in t he num ber t o be st or ed.

cor rect it using t he C key. For further det ails,

2. When y ou are sure t hat it is correct , press t he
Sa ve soft key.
3. Ent er the corresponding nam e up to 20
char act ers.
For inform at ion on how to ent er a nam e, see eZi
text input.
I f necessary, press the < Navigat ion Down> key to
highlight t he Num ber field and edit the num ber.
4. When y ou are sat isfied, pr ess the SELECT soft
key.
5. Press t he < Navigat ion Left> or < Navigation
Right> key t o select t he desired m em ory locat ion
from Phone and SI M Ca rd.
6. Press t he SAVE soft key t o st or e t he nam e and
num ber.
Spe ed- Dialing from
Phonebook
Once you hav e assigned speed-dial allocat ion t o
the Phonebook ent r ies ( refer t o ‘ Speed Dials’ in
Phonebook opt ions) , you can dial t he num ber
wit h one key press. Speed-dialing w ill save you
ent er ing all digit s of t he num ber.
To speed-dial a num ber, pr ess and hold down the
appropriat e key 2 to 9 in St andby m ode.

Using Phonebook Opt ions
I n St andby m ode, Nam es appears above t he
right soft k ey to allow you t o access the
Phonebook. The Phonebook pr ov ides y ou w it h
the v arious options.
Accessing the Opt ions
To access t he var ious Phonebook opt ions,
proceed as follow s.
1. I n St andby m ode, press t he N a m e s soft key.
The first available option is highlight ed.
2. To... Th e n press t he ...
Select t he SELECT soft key.
