Call W ait ing
This network service enables you t o be inform ed
when som eone is trying to reach you during
anot her call.
You can specify the call wait ing opt ion for voice
calls only.
To set your call wait ing opt ions, pr oceed as
follows.
The screen inform s you whether call w ait ing is
activat ed or deact ivat ed.
- You can act ivate or deactivat e t he call w ait ing
feat ure as necessary using t he Act ivate or
Deact ivate soft key respect iv ely.

You can send your phone num ber t o t he
designat ed phone when m aking a call so that t he
recipient can see your phone num ber .
N ot e : Som e net works do not allow t he user t o change
this set ting.
The following opt ions are available.
Off: your num ber is not display ed on
the ot her party’ s phone.
On: your num ber is sent each t im e you
m ake a call and display s on t he ot her par t y’ s
phone.
N et w ork Select ion
The Net work Select ion feat ure enables you t o
indicate whet her t he net work used w hen r oam ing
( outside your hom e ar ea) is selected
aut om at ically or m anually.
N ot e : You can select a net work ot her t han your hom e
net work only if it has a v alid roam ing agr eem ent
wit h your hom e net work.
To indicate whet her t he net work is t o be select ed
aut om at ically or m anually w hen roam ing,
proceed as follow s.
1. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigation
Down> k ey unt il t he appropriat e option is
highlighted and then press t he SELECT soft key.
I f y ou select Aut om a t ic, you are connect ed
to t he first available net work in t he preferred
list when roam ing.
I f y ou select Manu a l, t he phone scans for
the available net w orks. Go t o Step 2.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key until t he prefer red net work is
highlighted and then press t he SELECT soft key.
