Call Ba rring
The call bar ring net w or k service allow s you t o
rest rict your calls.
First you can select t he it em am ong below ones.
You can specify individual barring opt ions for
each of t he following call t ypes:
• Voice ca lls
• All dat a calls
• All fax ca lls
Call barr ing can be set up in the following w ays.
All: calls cannot be received or m ade.
Outgoing: calls cannot be m ade.
I nt e r nat ional: int ernat ional calls cannot be
m ade.
I nt exp. H om e: when abroad, calls can be
m ade only t o num bers wit hin the current country
and to your hom e count r y, t hat is the country
where your hom e network provider is locat ed.
W hen Roam : calls cannot be received when you
are using your phone out side your hom e service
area.
Cance l All: all call bar ring set t ings are
deact iv at ed; calls can be m ade and r eceiv ed
nor m ally.
You can specify individual barring opt ions for

To set your call bar ring opt ions, proceed as
follows.
1. Select t he t ype of calls t o be barred by
pressing t he < Navigation Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key until t he appr opr iat e opt ion is
highlighted and then pr ess the SELECT soft key.
2. Select t he t ype of call barring required by
pressing t he < Navigation Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key until the appropriat e opt ion is
highlighted and then pr ess the SELECT soft key.
3. Press t he Act ivate soft key t o confirm your
set t ings.
4. Ent er your call barring password supplied by
your service provider.
The phone sends your set t ings t o t he network
and the net work’ s acknow ledgem ent is displayed.
To deact ivate specific call bar ring set t ings,
proceed as follow s.
1. Select t he t ype of call to which this opt ion
applies.
2. Select t he call barring opt ion to be
deact iv at ed.
3. Press t he D eact ivate soft key.
4. Ent er your call barring password supplied by
your service provider.
The phone sends your set t ings t o t he network
and the network ’ s acknowledgem ent is displayed.
You can also deact ivate all call bar ring set t ings
by selecting t he Cance l All opt ion.
You can set and change the call bar ring password
obt ained from your service provider using t he
Passw ord Ch a nge option. You m ust enter t he
current passw ord before you can specify a new
