Mut ing the M icr ophone
You can tem porar ily swit ch y our phone’ s
m icrophone off, so t hat t he ot her par t y cannot
hear you.
Ex am ple: You w ish t o say som ething t o anot her per son
in t he room but do not w ant t he ot her part y t o hear you.
To switch t he m icrophone off t em porarily,
proceed as follow s.
1. During a call, press t he Opt soft k ey to ent er
I n- Call Opt ions.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key t o highlight Mut e.
3. Press t he SELECT soft key.
Your cor respondent can no longer hear you.
To switch t he m icrophone back on, proceed as
follows.
1. Press t he Opt soft key t o enter I n- Call
Opt ions.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key t o highlight Unm u t e.
3. Press t he SELECT soft key.
Your cor respondent can hear you again.
Using t he M e ssage Se rvice
Your phone can receive an incom ing m essage
during a call. You can read it im m ediat ely wit hout
disconnect ing t he call. Also, you can send a
m essage during a call.
1. Press t he Opt soft key and select Call
Message by pressing t he< End : Power> key.
2. Press t he SELECT soft key
The phone ent ers t he Message m enu. Refer t o
[ Messages] m enu.
