A device for transm it t ing or r eceiving signals.
The size and shape of antennas is det erm ined,
in part, by the frequency of t he signal t hey
receive. Wireless phones and the base st at ion
m ust have antennas.
ALS( Alt e r nate Line Service )
ALS provides t he capabilit y of associat ing two
alternat e lines wit h one SI M car d. You can m ake
and receive calls on eit her line as desir ed w it h
this ser vice.
Call Barring
Abilit y to r est rict out going and incom ing calls.
Call D ivertin g
Abilit y to r erout e calls t o another m obile or fixed
line.
Call H oldin g
Abilit y to put one call on st andby while answer ing
or m ak ing anot her call; you can t hen swit ch
bet ween t he two calls, as required.
Call W ait ing
Abilit y to inform users that t hey have an
incom ing call when engaged on another call.

DTMF
( Dual- t one Modulat ed Frequency ) You send

pressing t he digit keys.

LED
( Light Em it t ing Diode) Com m only used t o refer
to a sm all light on t he wireless phone or on t he
Desktop Charger. The LED lights on t he phone
to indicat e an incom ing call. The lights on t he
char ger indicat e t hat bat t ery char ging is taking
place.

Phon e s Pa ssw ord
Securit y code used to unlock t he phone when
you have select ed t he opt ion t o lock it

PI N ( Persona l I den t ifica t ion N u m ber)
Securit y code that prot ect s t he phone against
unaut horised use. The PI N is supplied by t he
ser vice provider with t he SI M card. I t m ay be a
four t o eight-digit num ber and can be changed,
as required.
