I n M essage
I n Message st ores the m essages t hat you have
received.
When you received a new m essage, ‘ Received
Message’ and New m essage icon ( ) appears in
display.
To read t he m essage im m ediat ely, press t he OK
soft key.
Once you ent er t his m enu, you can see t he last
received m essage. Scroll to t he desir ed m essage
by using t he < Navigat ion Left > or < Navigation
Right> key scan t hrough the m essage by
pressing t he < Navigation Up> or < Navigation
Down> key.
Press t he Opt soft key to use the following
opt ions.
While viewing a m essage, you can choose the
following opt ions, by pressing t he Opt soft key:
Re ply: allows you t o send a reply m essage to t he
sender.
For w ard: allows you t o forw ard t he select ed
m essage t o anot her phone num ber.
Ex t r a ct N u m ber: extract s a num ber from the
m essage if it has, so t hat you can call the
num ber or save it in t he phonebook.
Dele t e: allow s you t o delet e the select ed
m essage.
Dele t e All: delet es all m essages st ored in Out
Message.
When a confirm ing m essage appears, pr ess the
OK soft key to rem ove t hem or t he Ba ck soft k ey
to cancel delet ing.
Me m ory St at us
This m enu shows you t he st at us of m em ory for
m essages regardless of Out Message or I n
Message. You can see the num ber of t he st ored
m essages and the t ot al num ber of t he m essage
the phone can st ore.
Set t ing
Via t his m enu, you can set up default SMS
inform at ion.
The following opt ions ar e available:
service Cent: allow s you t o st ore or change the
num ber of your SMS cent r e required when
sending m essages. You m ust obtain t his num ber
from your service provider.
Validit y: allows y ou t o set the length of t im e for
which your t ext m essages w ill be stored at the
m essage cent re while at t em pts are m ade t o
deliver them t o you. 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours,
1 day, 2 days, 1 week, and Max are available.
Select ing Max st ores the m essage as long as
defined in SMS cent er.
SM S Alert : allows you t o set how m any tim es
and how oft en t he phone alerts you the incom ing
m essages. I f y ou do not want t o be alerted,
select OFF. I f y ou select One Tim e, t he phone w ill
alert y ou j ust one t im e when a m essages com es
in. I f you select Per iodic, the phone will alert y ou
at ev ery predefined tim es.
St a t u s Report : allows you t o act ivate or
deact ivat e t he repor t funct ion. When t his funct ion
is act ivat ed, the network inform s you w het her
your m essage has been delivered or not .
When you receiv e St at us Report, it is
