for hum an exposure t o radio frequency elect rom agnet ic
energy em it ted by FCC regulated t ransm it t er s. Those
guidelines ar e consist ent wit h t he safet y st andard
pr ev iously set by bot h U.S. and int ernational st andards
bodies. The design of t his phone com plies wit h t he FCC
guidelines and t hese int er national st andards.

using t he opt ional belt - clip/ holst er placed 0.7 inches

requir em ent s, a m inim um separation distance of 0.7
inches ( 1.8cm ) m ust be m aint ained bet ween t he user ’ s
body and t he phone, including t he ant enna, whet her
ext ended or ret ract ed. The use of t hir d- par ty belt - clips/
holst ers with no m et allic com ponent s t hat pr ovide t he
m inim um separat ion dist ance of 0.7 inches ( 1.8cm ) can
