Call W ait ing
This network service enables you to be inform ed
when som eone is t rying to reach you dur ing
anot her call.
You can specify the call wait ing opt ion for voice
calls only.
To set your call wait ing opt ions, proceed as
follows.
The screen inform s you whet her call w ait ing is
activat ed or deactivat ed.
- You can act ivat e or deact ivat e the call wait ing
feat ure as necessary using t he Act ivate or
Deact ivate soft key respect ively.
Send My Caller I D
You can send y our phone num ber to t he
designat ed phone when m aking a call so t hat t he
recipient can see your phone num ber.
N ot e : Som e net works do not allow t he user t o change
this set ting.
The following opt ions ar e available.
Off: y our num ber is not displayed on
the ot her party’ s phone.
On: your num ber is sent each t im e you
m ake a call and displays on the other party’ s
phone.
N et w or k Select ion
The Net work Select ion feat ure enables y ou t o
indicat e whet her t he net w or k used w hen roam ing
( outside your hom e ar ea) is select ed
aut om atically or m anually.
N ot e : You can select a net work ot her t han your hom e
net work only if it has a valid roam ing agreem ent
wit h your hom e net work.
To indicat e whet her t he net w or k is t o be select ed
aut om atically or m anually w hen roam ing,
proceed as follow s.
1. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key unt il t he appr opr iat e opt ion is
highlighted and then press t he OK soft k ey.
I f y ou select Au t om atic, you are connect ed
to t he first available net w ork in t he prefer red
list when roam ing.
I f y ou select Manu a l, t he phone scans for
the available net w orks. Go to Step 2.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key until the preferred net work is
highlighted and then press t he OK soft k ey.
