Mut ing t he Micr ophone
You can t em porarily switch y our phone’ s
m icrophone off, so t hat t he ot her par t y cannot
hear you.
Ex am ple: You wish t o say som et hing t o anot her person
in t he room but do not want t he ot her par ty t o hear y ou.
To swit ch t he m icr ophone off tem porarily,
proceed as follow s.
1. During a call, press t he Opt soft key t o enter
I n- Call Opt ions.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigat ion
Down> key t o highlight Mut e.
3. Press t he OK soft key.
Your correspondent can no longer hear you.
To swit ch t he m icr ophone back on, proceed as
follows.
1. Press t he Opt soft key t o enter I n- Call
Opt ions.
2. Press t he < Navigat ion Up> or < Navigation
Down> key t o highlight Unm ut e .
3. Press t he OK soft key.
Your correspondent can hear you again.
Using t he Messa ge Service
Your phone can receive an incom ing m essage
during a call. You can read it im m ediat ely w it hout
disconnect ing the call. Also, you can send a
m essage during a call.
1. Press t he Opt soft key and select Call
Message by pressing t he< End : Power> key.
2. Press t he OK soft key
The phone enters t he Message m enu. Refer t o
[ Messages] m enu.
