The Littmann model 3200 allows the user to select between three
different digital frequency lters to better emphasise the specic
patient sounds of interest.
The Bellmode amplies sounds from 20 – 1000Hz but emphasises
lower frequency sounds between 20-200Hz
The Diaphragm mode amplies sound from 20 – 2000Hz but
emphasises the sounds between 100-500Hz
The Extended Range mode amplies sounds from 20-2000Hz and
provides more low frequency between 50 -500Hz
HEARING
IMPAIRED E-SCOPE
The E-Scope hearing
Impaired Model is an
electronic stethoscope which amplies up to 30 times louder than
an acoustic scope.
The E-Scope may be used with mono headphones via a 3.5mm
jack socket. The headphones allow the user to leave their hearing
aids in place while listening. The E-Scope has a control lter which
allows the user to concentrate on heart or breathing sound fre-
quencies. The E-Scope is designed to remain at the same volume
setting each time you power on and has 64 possible volume posi-
tions with a maximum output of 125dB
