Bellman Visit ash receiver, BE1442/BE1444
General
The ash receiver is part of the Visit smart home system that helps you to keep tabs on your
home. It alerts you with bright ashes when the doorbell or telephone rings, when your
baby needs you or if a re should occur.
It is activated via radio signals from the Visit transmitters and features colored LED’s to dif-
ferentiate the alarms. You can also connect a bed shaker (optional accessory) and wake up
to vibrations if something should happen while you are asleep. For indoor use.
Getting started
Unpacking, installing and testing the unit
1 Connect the power supply to the receiver and the mains power. Pull the battery tab
at the bottom. Place the receiver on a level surface or mount it on the wall using the
BE9075 wall bracket accessory. The receiver should be placed where it best can be seen.
2
To test the radio link you need a Visit transmitter. Press the test button/s on the transmitter.
3 The receiver starts to ash and lights up the corresponding Visit LED. If a bed shaker is
connected, it will vibrate. A short press on the test button repeats the last indication. If
nothing happens, see Troubleshooting.
4
You can connect a Bellman bed shaker, BE1271 (optional accessory) to the bed shaker
output (10) . When the ash receiver is activated, the bed shaker will vibrate.
5 You can connect the ash receiver to the landline phone jack via the telephone input (8)
with the BE9105 Telephone Flex (optional accessory) and an adapter plug (optional
accessory). When the phone rings, the ash receiver will alert with ashes and the yellow
LED (5) will light up.
Function
Radio key
All Bellman Visit units are set to the same radio key as factory default. If you have a neighbour
with a similar system, you can change the radio key so that you do not aect each others
systems. Please refer to Installer’s guide in page 10. If you want to change the radio keys.
All units in a Bellman Visit System must have the same radio key in order to operate as a group.
