Cleaning and Care
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
►
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains
power socket! Otherwise there is the risk of electric shock!
► Never open any parts of the housing. There are no serviceable parts
whatsoever inside. When the housing is open, there is the risk of receiving
a potentially fatal electrical shock.
NEVER immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid! There is
a risk of fatal electric shock if residual liquids come into contact with
live components during operation.
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► Allow the appliance to cool suffi ciently before cleaning it. Risk of burns!
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not clean the appliance or parts of it in the dishwasher!
If you so, the appliance will be damaged beyond repair .
► Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents. These can attack the
surface and damage the appliance beyond repair.
NOTE

Ideally, clean the appliance directly after cooling, so that milk residues
cannot dry onto it. For the fi rst rough cleaning fi ll the jug with water and
a little detergent (the whisk 3/7 used is still fi tted). Pay attention to the
MIN and MAX
markings. Start the appliance so that the whisk 3/7
swirls through the water. Afterwards, rinse the appliance out with plenty of
clean water.
For a thorough cleaning, proceed as follows:
■ Remove the whisk 3/7 from the appliance to clean it and clean the inside
of the appliance with warm water. Add a little detergent. Wipe the interior
with a soft cloth or sponge. Pay special attention to the area around the
drive shaft. Rinse out the appliance carefully with plenty of clean water.
■ Pull the sealing ring 2 off the lid 1 and clean both parts in mild soapy
water. Rinse off detergent residues with clean water and dry both parts well.
Push the sealing ring 2 back onto the lid 1.
■ Clean the whisks 3/7 in mild soapy water and then rinse them well with
clean water.
