Syrup
Running syrup in your fountain gives the fondue a translucent look.
Cold Fondue
8 cups of apricot preserves
2 cups of butter-flavored syrup
6 cups of light corn syrup
Simmer all ingredients in a separate saucepan over medium heat for
about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Cool for 10 minutes and then blend
in the blender. Strain and cool to room temperature. (thin with hot water
if necessary). When the mixture is ready, pour it in the fountain.
Do not switch on the HEAT (
) or HEAT/MOTOR ( ) function
as this might thicken the syrup.
Suggested dipping items:
Pancake pieces, French toast fingers.

yogurt-herb dip
Cold Fondue
32 oz. container of plain yogurt
1 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of milk
2 finely grated cloves of garlic
salt & pepper
2 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup extremely fine chopped parsley, chives and basil
Mix together all ingredients until smooth but not too liquid in texture,
add more milk if too thick and more sour cream if too thin.
Suggested dipping items:
Carrots, individual leaves of romaine, cocktail tomatoes, cucumber
slices, freshly grilled veggie kebabs with zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes
or onions, cubes of French bread.

For best results, chocolate should contain 60% cocoa. Any higher percentage
of cocoa will require the addition of oil to thin out the mixture
(for best avor, use coconut oil).
Unless you are making a cold fondue,
do not add any cold liquids to the fountain during operation.
This will cause your mixture to thicken and not ow properly.
