1.7 Interface Overview: Settings
The Settings window is where you can change the appearance of your shortcut keys.
Applications List – Displays available
KillerKeys program settings.
Global Settings – Adjust KillerKeys startup and
Hide/Show shortcut settings.
Key Settings:
Preview Area – Previews the current shortcut
keys configuration.
Key Size – Adjust size settings.
Mouse-Over – Toggle hints to display on mouse-
over.
Design – Select key design style.
Background – Adjust key background settings.
Transitions – Adjust floating palette appearance
settings. (Global, applies to all programs.)
Restore/Save/Quit:
Restore Defaults Button – Restore default settings
for current or all applications.
Save and Close Button – Exits the Settings window
and returns to the KillerKeys program with settings
saved.
Save and Quit Button – Exits the KillerKeys program
entirely with settings saved.
Group Settings – Switch to the Group
Settings window.

Key Size, Mouse-Over, Design, and Background all can be changed according to the specific
program running. Transitions are global settings and apply to all programs.
