2.4 Hiding Keys
There may be shortcuts you
already know within the
KillerKeys shortcut Groups or
shortcuts which aren't
necessary to your project. To
Hide individual keys, click “Edit”
on the right side of the group
header.
Click a key to hide it. The key's
appearance will change to a
checkerboard background to
indicate it is hidden. To Unhide
a key click it again. Click “Done”
to finish editing.
Hiding keys in a Favorites Group will remove them from the Favorites Group permanently. Hiding
a key in a regular Group will also delete the key from any Favorites Groups containing that key.
Status Text will display the number of hidden keys in a Group or in the Master Palette.
All Hide settings for shortcut keys and Groups are Profile specific. Switching between Profiles 1,
2, and 3 can all apply different settings.
2.5 Hiding Groups
If there is an entire Group of
shortcut keys you do not need,
click the Hide Group icon at the
top of the Master Palette.
Click “Edit”, and click on a group
name to hide/unhide it. Click
“Done” to finish editing.
The Hide Group icon will turn
Blue to indicate there are one or
more hidden groups.
