The Thuja genus is a very broad group of evergreens: from upright like an arrow, to globular, to fast
growing, to goliath-like. There is an arborvitae to check off the boxes of all your needs.

SOIL: Generally speaking, Arborvitae are adaptable to any environment except very wet soils.

‘Jantar’ – narrow upright golden selection, up to 6’ tall
‘Green Giant’ – very fast grower to 40-50’ tall
‘Little Giant’- globe shaped to 4’ wide

Growing Tips
Knowing the type of arborvitae, you need is key to being successful with siting it correctly the first time.
Make sure you give it enough space and room to grow. A lot of times correct space is the number one
cause of why a plant fails and arborvitae are no exception. Mulch roots to keep soil moisture
evaporation at a minimum.
