he NFB24-SR and NFX24-SR uses a brushless DC motor which is controlled by an

pplication Specific Inte

rated Circuit

ASIC
)
and a microprocessor. The
microprocessor provides the intelli

ence to the ASIC to provide a constant rotation rate
a
nd to know the actuator’s exact fail-safe
p
osition. The ASIC monitors and controls
the brushless D
C
motor’s rotation and provides a digital rotation sensing function to
p
revent dama
g
e to the actuator in a stall condition. The actuator may be stalled
a
nywhere in its normal rotation without the need o
f
mechanical end switches
.

he NFB24-SR-S and NFX24-SR-S versions are
p
rovided with two built-in auxiliar
y
s
witches. These SPDT switches provide safety interfacin
g
or si
g
nalin
g
, for example, for

an start-up. The switching
f
unction at the
f
ail-sa
f
e position is

ixed at +10°, the other
s
witch function is adjustable between +10° to +90°. The NFB24-SR, NFB24-SR-S,
