Configuring the Forum IPhone 545 SIP Telephone
Deleting a Local
Configuration
The Forum IPhone 545 SIP telephone saves local settings (e.g.
audio settings) in a local configuration. Use the following proce-
dure to delete the local configuration and to restore the configura-
tion that was configured in the Web Configurator of the
Forum 500 / Forum 5000 communications system.
1. Press the options key and then the
Status softkey.
The
Status menu card appears.
2. Press the
Reset softkey.
3. Press the
Erase Local Cfg. softkey.
The telephone starts and is quickly ready for operation once
again.
Restoring Factory Settings
Reset to factory settings upon configuration problems in
conjunction with the communications system Forum 500 /
Forum 5000
If the Forum IPhone 545 SIP telephone cannot be configured via
the Forum 500 / Forum 5000 communications system you should
reset to factory settings.
1. Press the options key and then the
Status softkey.
The
Status menu card appears.
2. Press the
Reset softkey.
3. Press the
Factory Default softkey.
The telephone restarts and obtains its configuration from the
Forum 500 / Forum 5000 communications system.
