4. Enter the administrator password with the number keys
(please refer to Forum IPhone 512 Passwords starting on
page 42). Confirm with the right arrow key .
5. Confirm the
Erase local config? display by pressing the
hash key .
Restoring Factory Settings
It is possible that you have been operating the Forum IPhone 512
with another communications system or with an Internet SIP pro-
vider. To operate the Forum IPhone 512 with the Forum 500 /
Forum 5000 communications system, you should restore factory
settings.
1. Disconnect the Ethernet connection of the Forum IPhone 512.
2. If the telephone is not in operation, turn on the power supply.
Wait until the Forum IPhone 512 has started. Now press the
options key .
If the Forum IPhone 512 has already been operated on the
Forum 500 / Forum 5000 communications system, the
Options menu appears with 3 menu entries.
If the Forum IPhone 512 has factory settings only partially
active, the
Options menu appears with 7 menu entries in
English. Continue with step 4.
3. Use the navigation keys to select the
2 Phone Status
menu entry. Confirm with the right arrow key .
–The
Phone Status menu appears. Use the navigation
keys to select the
7 Factory Default menu entry. Confirm
with the right arrow key .
– The display shows
Admin Password . Enter the administrator
password with the number keys (please refer to
Forum IPhone 512 Passwords starting on page 42). Confirm
with the right arrow key .
