Alarm Management
Parameter Description
Tr igger Value Numericvaluetotriggeralarmwithwhen:

History Specifieswhenthealarmistoberemovedfrom thealarm
list. Checkingthisboxmeans that the alarmwillremain
inthelistuntilthelistisfull. Leavingitunchecked means
thatthealarm willberemovedfromthelist whenitis
acknowledgedand nolongeractive. If Acknowledge
Requiredisnot checked,thealarm willberemovedfrom
thelistassoonasitisnolongeractive.

Required
Indicateswhetherthealarmistobe acknowledged or
not. Checkingthebox meansthatthealarmmustbe
acknowledged,leavingituncheckedmeansthatthealarm
returnstonormaldirectlywhenthealarmstatusbecomes
inactive.

Onlyavailableifalarmdistributionis enabledforthealarm
server. IftheEnable Distributionoptionforthealarm
groupischecked,distributionofindividualalarmsinthe
groupareautomaticallyenabled.
Re peatCount Toavoidthatana larm thatistriggered repeatedlyresults
inmultipleentries inthealarm list, Repeat Countcanb e
used. Thecurrentalarm willthenonly appearoncein the
alarmlist,andthenumbero f times thealarmistriggered
willbeincludedinthealarm text. I t isalsopossibletoshow
aCountcolumn intheAlarmViewer. Theactivetimecan
beshowneitherforthefirsttimeorforthelasttimethe
alarmoccurred.
Action Makesitpossibletoconfigureoneor multipleactionswhen
aparticularalarm eventoccursforthecurrentalarm.
Note:
Analarmconditionistriggered byafixedvalue. The triggervaluedefinedfor ananalog
alarmtagcannotbecontrolled fromaregister. Itisnotsupportedtotriggeralarms
onintervals.

Items
Alarm items can be exported and imported using the Import/Export button in the
Alarms configuration page. The procedure is similar to expor ting and importing
tags.
