8.1.1 ClipboardGroup
The Clipboard group contains the paste, cut, copy and format painter controls.
Cut
Cuts the selection to the clipboard. Also available from the keyboard with
[Ctrl]+x or from the context menu.
Copy
Copies the selection to the clipboard. Also available from the keyboard with
[Ctrl]+c or from the context menu.
Paste
Copies the clipboard to the current screen. Also available from the keyboard with
[Ctrl]+v or from the context menu.
Note:
Textfromacompatiblesource,e.g. clipboardtext,willbeconvertedtoaTextBox
objectwhenpastedinto ascreen.
Format Painter
The Format Painter control is used to copy formatting from one object to another.
This is useful when creating a uniform appearance for objects.
To apply formatting to another object:
1.
Click on an object with the desired form at and font properties. Click on the
Format Painter control. The mouse pointer changes to a p aintbrush.
2.
Click on the objec
ttoformat.
The format properties from the first object is applied to the selected object.
Format and font pr
operties can be copied between objects of different types, for
example from a re
ctangle to an HMI control.
Note:
