Web pages can be di
splayed using the web browser. It is possible to set up the web
browser with reg
ular web browsing functionality, with selection of web addresses
in a list or inpu
t via the virtual keyboard. It is also possible to allow showing certain
defined web pag
es only, or a local HTM/HTML file.
If certain characters are displayed incorrectly in the web browser, it is because the
panel does not support the font in that language.
The virtual
keyboard in iX Developer is not used in the web browser object. For
iX TxC pane
ls and PC targets we recommend using the Tablet PC Input Panel in
Windows (
found under Accessories > Ta b l e t P C ). Otherwise we recommend using
an extern
al keyboard.
