9.4 DVI
DVI (Digital Visual Interface) represents an all digital transmission of video da-
ta. Thereby become the quality (which losses with the transformation of digital
data into a analog video signal - and with digital image replication devices with
the transformation back in the digital signal) repaired.
Function
Connection between the PC (first video source) and the monitor for transmis-
sion of video data.
DVI Technical Data
Transmission of video data over two TDMS links and in each case 3 channels
Maximum pixel clock per channel: 330 MHz
Data transmission rate up to 1,65 Gbit/s
Resolution when using DVI monitors: 2048 x of 1536 pixels
Single Link up to 1600 x 1200 pixels
Dual Link up to 2048 x 1536 pixels
Note:
Selection of videos source(s), synchronization, image position, window position
and other settings are accomplished via the OSD menu.
