9.2 S-Video
S-video (also known as Y/C) is a base band analog video format. It offers a signal
of higher quality than composite video, but not as good as RGB- or component
video. The S-video format divides the signal into two channels; brightness (lu-
minance) and color (chroma).
Function
Connection between a second video source and monitor for transmission of vid-
eo data e.g. for PIP (Picture in Picture “Split screen”) function.
S-Video Connection
Note:
Selection of videos source(s), synchronization, image position, window position
and other settings are accomplished via the OSD menu.
