Sounds
All sounds are stored in the sound module with our software USM-RC Sound-Teacher,
in so called „slots".
Generally we can say you don’t have to occupy every slot with a sound. If you don’t
want e.g. any starting-noise, just keep the starting-noise slot free.
In both slots for “Idling noise“and “FG1“ (engine sound) you should place a sound,
otherwise no sound in standing and driving is played.
Here an overview, which sounds in which slots, can be stored:
Sound-Slots
Engine start sound coldstart
Engine start sound warmstart
Idle sound
Vehicle start sound (idling Æ drive)
Vehicle stop sound (drive Æ idling)
Engine stop sound
Reverse engine sound

Shift sounds between FG1 - FG5
Additional sound 1 (start)
Additional sound 1 (loop)
Additional sound 1 (stop)
Additional sound 2 (start)
Additional sound 2 (loop)
Additional sound 2 (stop)

Sound from Servo 2 left/right

Random sound 1 - 8
Optionally, the engine sound while driving backwards can be different from the Sound
driving forwards. Again, you can put sounds in these slots, but you don’t have to. If the
slot for driving backwards is empty, the sound module will play the normal engine
sound.
