22. Bootloader Menu
CAUTION: This menu is for factory or service use only. Improper use may
cause damage to the DeepMind 6.
Note: Please ensure you backup any programs / patterns before using any of the
bootloader functionality
To show the bootloader menu follow these steps:
1. Ensure the DeepMind 6 is turned o.
2. Press and hold the PROG and WRITE switches.
3. Turn the DeepMind 6 on.
4. Release the PROG and WRITE switches.
You will now see the bootloader menu, the options are decribed in this section.
In order to select an option make sure that the '<' symbol on the appropriate
CALIBRATE line is highlighted using the BANK/UP and BANK/DOWN switches then
press the +/YES switch.
22.1 1- Format WiFi Flash
Factory Use Only. (Note that although the DeepMind 6 does not have WiFi, the
other units in the DeepMind series do.)
22.2 2- MIDI Update
Factory Use Only.
22.3 3- Reset Cal Data
This option will reset the calibration data.
22.4 4- Reset Chords
This option will reset the chord memory.
22.5 5- Reset PolyChords
This option will reset the polychord memory.
22.6 6- Reset Globals
This option will reset the global settings.
22.7 7- Reset ALL
This option will perform all formatting resetting covered in options 1-5 settings.
22.8 8- EXIT
This option will exit the bootloader menu and return the DeepMind 6 to
normal operation.
