Thank you for showing your condence in us by purchasing the
Behringer COMPRESSOR SUSTAINER CS400. This ultimate eects pedal is
specically designed to achieve super-smooth compression and endless
sustain. Thanks to its high-performance features you can compress loud
and boost low signals without degrading the original sound.
A compressor limits the dynamic range of a signal. This means that
signal peaks will be attenuated and the level dierences between
loudest and softest playing are reduced. This results in a more powerful
and pressure-rich tone.
1. Controls
(1) The LEVEL control adjusts the output level.
(2) Turn up the TONE control to achieve more presence and
soundclarity.
(3) The ATTACK control determines how fast the compressor reacts
on the input signal. The attack time is sweepable between slow
and fast.
(4) The SUSTAIN control determines the amount of compression that
results in long-lasting tones.
(5) The ON/BATT LED illuminates when the eect is activated. It also
serves as a battery level indicator.
(6) Use the footswitch to activate/deactivate the eect.
(7) Use this ¼" TS IN connector to plug in the instrument cable.
(8) The ¼" TS OUT connector sends the signal to your amp.
Use the DC IN connection at the front of the unit to plug in a 9V power
supply (not included).
