On the bottom of the keyboard, press the
ID button (
I
) once. The keyboard contains
256 channels, or
IDs
, that are randomly
selected when you press the ID button. This
helps protect against interference from other
wireless keyboards in the same area.

Important:
The mouse goes into a sleep or suspend
mode after 20 minutes of inactivity. Click a button
on the mouse to wake it up. (Moving the mouse
does not wake it up.)
Installing the Low Battery
Indicator Software
If you have a Microsoft
®
Windows
®
Me or
Windows 98 operating system, you need to
install the
Microsoft Windows 98 & Me keyboard
software solution
CD that contains the low battery
indicator software.
Note:
Skip these steps if you have Windows XP.
To install the low battery indicator software:

Insert the Microsoft Windows 98 & Me
keyboard software solution CD into a CD-ROM
or DVD-ROM drive.

Double-click My Computer.

Double-click the drive icon that has the
inserted CD.

Double-click the RF_MMKBD file.

Click Setup.

When the installation is complete, click OK.
