BEEM - Elements of Lifestyle
NOTE
Condensed water may drip off the
teapot bottom.
Place the teapot (4) onto a heat-resis-
tant surface.
Open the lid (6) of the teapot (4) with
the lid opener (7) .
Pour the boiling water from the kettle
(3) over the tea.
NOTE
Fill the teapot with a maximum of 0.7
litre.
The more tea leaves or tea bags and
the less water you use in the teapot,
the stronger the tea concentrate will
be (professionals enjoy the infusion
with exactly 2.86 g of tea per cup). It
is preferable to use slightly more tea
so that a real concentrate is produ-
ced in the teapot.
Put the teapot (4) containing the tea
concentrate back onto the kettle (3).
NOTE
The steam circulating in the water
tank keeps the tea in the teapot at
exactly the temperature it needs to
"steep".
Pour the tea out of the teapot after
the desired steeping time,. If you have
used the tea strainer (5), remove the
tea strainer containing the tea (see
illustration A2).
Fill the kettle (3) again with fresh wa-
ter and allow the water to heat up.
Turn the temperature selection switch
(2) clockwise to the " ●●", position to
keep the water hot.
Resetting the dry run protection
If you have lled the kettle with too little
water or switched on an empty appliance,
the dry run protection will switch of the ap-
pliance automatically. The power indicator
light (11) extinguishes.
To reset the dry run protection, proceed as
follows:
Pour fresh water into the kettle (3).
Continue to use the appliance as
usual.
Brewing tea according to the
"Samovar principle"
Black tea
Fill the kettle (3) with the desired
amount of fresh water.
NOTE
Observe the lling level indica-
tor (10). Do not ll up over the MAX
mark and not under the MIN mark
(refer to illustration A1).
Fill the tea strainer (5) with tea leaves
(approx. 1 tea spoon per cup)
Put the tea strainer (5) into the teapot
(4) or put the tea bag directly into the
teapot (4) (1 tea bag for approx. 1-2
cups).
Place the teapot (4) onto the kettle
(3). The teapot is then warmed up at
the same time.
Allow the water in the kettle (3) to boil
as described in the section Conti-
nuous boiling.
Remove the teapot (4) from the kettle
(3).
