Before using for the rst time
Clean the appliance as described in ■
the section Cleaning and care.
Fill the kettle (3) with fresh water up to ■
the MAX mark and allow the water to
boil in order to remove possible produc-
tion residues.
Place the lid (13) onto the kettle (3). –
Place the kettle (3) onto the cordless –
socket (1).
Insert the plug into the mains socket. –
Turn the temperature selection –
switch (2) clockwise to the "
"
heating function to boil the water.
Wait until the water boils and then –
turn the temperature selection switch
(2) to the "O" position .
Pour out the water. –
NOTE
During the initial period of use, odour ►
may be produced by the materials
used in the appliance. The odour will
diminish after a short period of time.
Repeat the process. ■
