Only lift the kettle and the teapot with ►
the handle.
Lift the teapot carefully. Hot steam ►
can escape and lead to scalding.
Only use the kettle with the lid on or ►
when the teapot is placed on top.
Do not open the lid of the kettle or ►
teapot immediately after boiling is
completed.
Remove the tea strainer carefully ►
with the help of the handle.
Do not move the cordless socket ►
when the appliance is in operation.
Before cleaning, allow the appliance ►
to cool down.
Health risk from germs!
Always pour boiling water over ►
herbal, fruit, rooibos and spice teas
(loose and in tea bags) and allow to
steep for at least 5 - 10 minutes! This
is the only method for ensuring that
the tea is safe to drink!
Do not allow prepared herbal tea to ►
stand for several hours.
CAUTION
Do not pour in any other liquids apart ►
from water or put foodstuffs into the
kettle.
Never fill the kettle with water if it is ►
standing on the cordless socket.
Do not use sharp objects or abra- ►
sive cleaning agents to clean the
surfaces.
Descale the kettle regularly. ►
Requirements for the place of use
For safe and trouble-free operation of the
appliance, the installation location must
satisfy the following requirements:
Place the appliance on a dry, at, wa- ■
terproof and heat-resistant surface.
The surface nishes on furniture may ■
contain substances that can be detri-
mental to the rubber feet of the appli-
ance. If necessary, place a mat under
the feet of the appliance.
Do not place the appliance in a hot, ■
wet or very humid environment or in
the vicinity of inammable materials.
Select a location that does not allow ■
children to reach the hot surfaces of
the appliance.
The plug socket used must be easily ■
accessible in order to be able to dis-
connect the appliance from the electric
circuit quickly in the event of an emer-
gency.
