Disconnect the plug from the mains socket before starting ►

Fault causes and remedies
Fault Possible cause Remedy
Lifting mechanism does
not lock into its lower
position.
Not plugged in.
Insert the mains
plug.
No mains power.
Check the fuse/
socket.
The automatic circuit
breaker in the fuse box
trips.
Too many appliances con-
nected to the same power
circuit.
Reduce the number
of appliances on the
power circuit.
Appliance is defective
Contact customer
service.
