Danger of electric shock
DANGER
Danger from electric current!
Contact with live wires or components could lead to
serious injury or even death!
Observe the following safety precautions to avoid any danger
from electric current:
Do not use the appliance if the mains cable or mains plug is ►
damaged.
Do not open the housing of the appliance. Danger from ►
electric current if live connections are touched and/or the
electrical and mechanical conguration is changed.
Never immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or ►
other liquids.
Do not reach into toasting slot. ►
Do not try to remove toasted food stuck in the toasting slot ►
using a knife or other tools. Remove the plug and let the
appliance cool down before rectifying faults.
Danger of burns
WARNING
The appliance can become very hot during operation!
Observe the following safety precautions to avoid burning your-
self.
Do not touch the hot surfaces during operation. ►
Only hold the appliance by the handle during operation. ►
Do not cover the toasting slot. ►
Bread can burn. Never use the appliance in the vicinity of or ►
underneath ammable materials such as curtains.
Before cleaning, allow the appliance cool down. ►
