The grilled food is particularly tender ■
and succulent when the meat is mari-
nated rst. You will nd two examples
of marinating in the section Reci-
pes (page 30).
Procedure:
Insert the grill plates (13) into the
appliance as described in the section
Changing the function plates (page
26).
Lightly oil the function plates before
using. Saturate a kitchen roll with veg-
etable oil and wipe it over the function
plates.
Fold the lid (6) downwards.
Insert the plug into the mains socket.
The red power indicator (2) and the
green temperature indicator (3) light
up and the appliance starts heating.
This can take a few minutes.
Wait until the green temperature indi-
cator (3) extinguishes.
Procedure:
Prepare the wafe batter ( for recipes,
see page 30).
Insert the wafe plates (14) into the
appliance as described in the section
Changing the function plates (page
26).
Oil the function plates before using –
not for each wafe. Saturate a kitchen
roll with vegetable oil and wipe it over
the function plates.
Fold the lid (6) downwards.
Insert the plug into the mains socket.
The red power indicator (2) and the
green temperature indicator (3) light
up and the appliance starts heating.
This can take a few minutes.
Fold the lid (6) up.
Fill the middle of the left and right
halves of the lower function plate with
the wafe mixture.
Fold the lid down without locking it.
During baking, lift up the lid briey to
inspect the wafe. Allow it to bake to a
golden brown colour.
