Cleaning
CAUTION
Possible damage to the non-stick coating by scratching!
The surface of the grill plates has a non-stick coating. Observe
the following instructions to avoid damage:
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or metal brushes, ►
nylon brushes or other objects that could scratch the surface
when cleaning the grill plates.
The appliance must be cleaned after each use. ■
Clean the appliance as soon as it has cooled down. Waiting ■
too long makes cleaning unnecessarily difcult.
Leftovers that stick to the the grill plates can burn into the ■
coating if not removed correctly
Grill plates
NOTE
Grill plates are ► not suitable for dishwashers.
Remove the grill plates as described in the section  Remov-
ing/inserting grill plates.
Wipe the grill plates with damp cloth or sponge and a little 
washing-up liquid and then with a damp cloth without wash-
ing-up liquid.
NOTE
In the case of stubborn stains, cleaning is easier if the ►
grill plates are soaked rst.
