Using as an open grill
Open the lid (2) completely as described in the section  Fold-
ing the lid.
Switch on the device as described in the section  Switching
on.
Put the food onto both grill plates (11). 
Grill the food until it is browned or cooked as desired. 
NOTE
Regularly turn over food to ensure even cooking; if pos- ►
sible, only turn over sh and meat once to avoid drying
it out.
Using the spacer
Set the desired gap as described in the section  Setting the
gap.
Switch on the device as described in the section  Switching
on.
Open the lid (2). 
Put the food onto the lower grill plate (11). 
Close down the lid (2). 
Grill the food until it is browned or cooked as desired. 
Switching off
Set the thermostat and the timer to the "  ¡“ position. The
power indicator (8) and the standby indicator (7) go out.
Pull the plug out of the mains socket. 
