cable or mains plug is damaged.

Never immerse the appliance or the ►
mains plug in water or other liquids.
Pull the plug out of the mains socket, ►
if you are not using the appliance, –
before inserting/removing the grill –
plates,
if a malfunction occurs during op- –
eration,
before you clean the appliance. –

Never play with packaging material. ►

Never use the appliance in the ►
vicinity of or underneath ammable
materials such as curtains.

Check that the upper grill plate is ►
securely xed.
Do not touch the hot surfaces during ►
operation.
Only touch the appliance during op- ►
eration using the handles or knobs.
Allow the appliance to cool down ►
before cleaning and before inserting/
removing the grill plates.
CAUTION
Do not pull the connecting cable ►
to remove the plug from the mains
socket.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents ►
or metal brushes, nylon brushes
or other objects that could scratch
the surface when cleaning the grill
plates.
Never lift or move the appliance with ►
the mains cable.
Do not cut any food on the grill plate. ►
Use only spoons and spatulas for ►
turning over food that are suitable for
non-stick surfaces.
