Fundamental safety precautions

For safe use of the device, observe the following fundamental

safety precautions and the precautions described separately in

the individual sections:

Inspect the device for visible signs of damage before use. Do ■

not use a damaged device.

Do not remove the rating plate or any warning signs on the ■

device.

Keep the device out of the reach of children. ■

Do not operate the device for prolonged periods without su- ■

pervision.

Only use the device in connection with the base plate sup- ■

plied.

Persons who due to their physical, mental or motor response ■

abilities are unable to operate the device may only use the de-

vice under supervision or instruction by a responsible person.

Never immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug ■

in water or other liquids.

Do not pull the cable to remove the plug from the mains so- ■

cket.

Repairs to the machine may only be carried out by the spe- ■

cialist retailer or by the works after-sales service. Unqualied

repairs can lead to considerable danger for the user. They will

also void the warranty.

Repairs to the device during the warranty period may only be ■

carried out by service centres authorised by the manufacturer

as the warranty will otherwise be voided in the event of dama-

ge or subsequent damage.

Defective parts may only be replaced with original spare parts. ■

Only original spare parts guarantee that the safety require-

ments are met.
