Intermittent boiling
When the water is boiling, turn the rotary knob back until the
indicator light
goes out. This switches the appliance to
intermittent boiling. The thermostat switches on and the water is
heated again only when the temperature of the water drops. The
thermostat thus regulates the power supply as necessary and
saves a great deal of energy. As the thermostat switches on and
off, so the indicator light
comes on and goes out.
Switch off appliance
Proceed as follows to switch off the appliance:
Turn the rotary knob (8) completely in anti-clockwise direction

up to the position , thereby overcoming the slight resist-
ance. The indicator light
goes out.
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket if the appliance u
is not used for prolonged periods.
Refill with water
WARNING
Risk of burns from hot steam!
When filling the hot water tank, steam can escape and cause
burns.
Allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes before

refilling with water.
Proceed as follows to refill the appliance with water:
Switch off the appliance.

Allow the appliance to cool down. u
Fill the water tank with fresh water. u
