Shift pattern for racing
The shift pattern can be reversed
for racing by changing the posi-
tion of the selector rod. Revers-
ing the shift pattern means that
the gearshift lever is lifted up for
1st gear and pressed down for
all the other gears. This is the
reverse of the arrangement for
riding on public roads.
