12. Final installation of the Car Docking Station
• Fasten the mounting plate (B) to the three attachment points.
• Connect the cables to the Car Docking Station according to the
instructions contained under “Car Docking Station connections”
on page 37.
In order to prevent short-circuits and malfunctions, install the
cables so that they cannot be pinched, kinked, chafed or
detached.
Ensure that the cables routed through the mounting plate from
above are not excessively long.
The individual cable connectors can only be attached in one
direction. This is to protect against reverse polarity.
