>>> TELEPHONE MODE
Data settings / Bluetooth
Tethering (model dependent)
In the "Data settings" menu item you
can activate/deactivate the data usage.
This is necessary for receiving live ser-
vices, such as Live traffic or Live speed
camera detector alerts via Bluetooth
Tethering. This requires a compatible
mobile phone with support of the Blue-
tooth Tethering function as well as a
mobile contract with data flat rate. The
Bluetooth Tethering function must be
activated separately in your mobile
phone. You can find more information
on this in your mobile phone manual.
Audio Out settings
(model dependent)
In the Audio Out settings you have the
option to connect the Bluetooth-ena-
bled audio system of your vehicle wire-
lessly with your navigation device and
to hear the navigation announcements
via the speakers of your vehicle. To do
this, activate the option by clicking "on/
off". Afterwards, select your audio sys-
tem in the Bluetooth list. To connect
automatically in future, activate the
"AutoConnect" option.
Your audio system handles the an-
nouncements of the navigation device
like a telephone call. This means that
the Bluetooth connection is switched to
automatically for the duration of the
navigation announcement so you can
hear it via the speakers of your vehicle.
After the announcement, the previous
audio source is switched to automati-
cally again (for example radio/CD/USB
mode).
Note:
Data transmission via your mobile
phone can incur additional costs
depending on your mobile contract.
Before activation, please consult your
your mobile provider. If a connection to
the server is not possible, e.g. because
no mobile network is available for a
longer period of time, then TMC is
switched to automatically until a
connection to the server is possible
again.
