Settings
External device
You can specify whether an AUX source
or an external hands-free unit is
connected to the Cascade instead of a
CD changer.
X Select ([WHUQDO GHYLFH in the system
settings.
X Select between &' FKDQJHU, $X[ and
([WHUQDOKDQGVIUHH off (on = ).
Reset function
You can reset the Cascade to the factory
settings.
X Select 5HVHWIXQFWLRQV in the system set-
tings.
X You may now select 'HOLYHU\ VWDWXV,
5HVHWVHWWLQJV or 'HOHWHSHUVRQDOGDWD.

'HOLYHU\VWDWXV
The Cascade is reset to the factory set-
tings. All settings are reset. Personal
data is deleted.

5HVHWVHWWLQJV
All settings made are reset to original
values. Personal data is not deleted.

'HOHWHSHUVRQDOGDWD
Personal data is deleted. Settings are
not reset.
X In the following prompt, select <HV to
reset the settings or
1R to continue
without a reset.
A reset is performed if
<HV is selected.
The Cascade switches itself off briefly
and then back on again automatically.
Note:
Only one of the three settings can be
active ( ) at one time.
However, all three functions may be
inactive ( ) at the same time.
If the Cascade recognises that a CD
changer is connected,
&' FKDQJHU is
activated ( ). It is then not possible to
switch the function off manually.
The microphone of the Cascade cannot
be used for external hands-free
operation.
